These are turbulent times. Times of distress, uncertainty, emotions are running high, many not sure how they will keep a roof over their head and food on their table for their family.
Even though we must keep our distance physically we can give our support to our family, friends, and neighbors by picking up the phone and just saying “how are you doing?”
For all those single parents who cannot miss work, seeking help with child care I would like to say I feel your pain. I am experiencing this with my daughter and my three grandchildren. Schools have closed for the rest of the school year, extra curricular activities cancelled. Just yesterday she wrote “wishing you lived closer”. She knows I would be there in a heart beat.
For all those who consider themselves in the senior categories, many stores are opening for one hour before all other shoppers just for the seniors, for those who are at risk.
Governments are doing what they believe is best but still it does not calm frayed nerves.
As for me I was suppose to have two doctors appointments and both were re-booked for a month from now.
So, if I could I would offer all those who are hurting a warm hug of assurance. Remember, wherever you live you are not facing this troublesome time alone!
