Diagnosed bi-polar. A survivor of attempted suicide.

I try to write with a glimmer of hope though.

I hope this helps you from where I stand today.

    1. Linda, I will allow your comment on my site.
However, I cannot agree to parts of your thesis.
From here on I will not be allowing the promotion of other website articles.
Linda, thank you for sharing your article. Also, for liking my short biography.

      1. Well thank you for your frankness and for your hospitality. Your goal is to encourage readers to read the Bible. That is my goal as well. You may not agree with how I have woven Scripture together to come up with the idea that Demons, people thinking in human terms have usurped Mary Magdalene’s role as Bride. Just so you know, I earned a Master’s Degree for my thesis: Mary Magdalene her image and relationship to Jesus. If you are interested and want to see how I argue parts that Orthodox Christians and many Protestants disagree with please take a look–if you are truly interested in Rethinking Scripture. You can view and download my thesis at http://summit.sfu.ca/item/12048

I have also written academic papers drawing on my insight from the Woman with the Alabaster Jar in keeping with climate change and the New Jerusalem. https://www.lindavogtturner.ca

      2. Thank you! I was not so fortunate to be able to attend a fine University.
I am a high school dropout, but who never stopped my thirst for knowledge and truth.
I learned to study the Bible what most now would call the hard way, a single Bible, notepad and pen, many long long hours over my 40 years of studying.
Raised Pentecostal(maternal side). My paternal grandmother a devout Catholic. Therein lied a conflict growing up.
Now with just a piece of software I have access to dozens of Bibles, Commentaries, and devotionals. I wish would have that type of access as an thirteen year old.
Have held ordinations on both sides of the border.
At the moment my mission is letting others know that like them this broken preacher has issues. Diagnosed bi-polar. So, there is my focus.
I try to write still with a glimmer of hope though.
I hope this helps you from where I stand today.

  1. I know what it’s like to live with chronic ill health. But gratefully, I came into something that has been helping me and thousands of others around the globe, with all kinds of health problems. You may read about it on my recent post. Wishing you well.
